Dublin’s Urban Brewing has unveiled a new weekend brunch menu for the summer.
Urban Brewing is located at the CHQ Building in Dublin’s Docklands area, and was opened in 2017 by the Carlow Brewing Company. The space includes a fully-functional microbrewery, two bars and Stack A Restaurant which is located within the building’s underground vaults.
The new menu is available on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from 12:00pm – 3:30pm and was devised by head chef Dan Keane. Diners can expect a mix of original, inventive and internationally-influenced dishes such bread and butter pudding French toast with blueberry compote, miso gelato; and grilled hake taco with sweetcorn, red pepper & white onion salsa, picante verde, lime hummus.
Urban Brewing is also offering a picnic basket which can be enjoyed between two people outside on the terrace. The basket includes ciabatta sandwiches (black bean hummus, mozzarella, Serrano ham, pickled carrot, rocket, mustard mayo), a slice of watermelon, a cheese box (chutney, crackers, grapes and quince), popcorn or paprika roasted Valencia almonds, and a bottle of Falling Apple Irish cider rosé.
A cocktail menu has been created to pair with the new brunch offering, and guests can expect drinks such as the Urban Beach, made with Glendalough rose gin, St Germain, Aperol, grapefruit juice and Prosecco; and the Liquid Odyssey made with vodka, raki, vermouth, lemon juice, basil, cucumber, olives and oregano.
Head chef Dan Keane said: “We’re really excited to launch our new summer brunch menu. Each dish has been carefully designed using the best local, seasonal produce with flavour combinations inspired from all over the world.”
