Irish whiskey brand Tullamore Dew has launched its first ever Virtual Snug Sessions.

Inspired by the conversations, music, drinks and craic that often take place in the Irish snug, Tullamore Dew wants to recreate the same atmosphere in peoples’ living rooms.

The Virtual Snug Sessions take place via video call and include a cocktail making masterclass and a spoken word performance, ending with a music session. Tullamore Dew Brand Ambassador, Kevin Pigott, teaches a cocktail masterclass with groups of friends who dial into the call. Ahead of the class, Tullamore Dew send a special cocktail pack containing all the necessary ingredients to each participant, so they have everything they need to create the perfect Tully cocktails.

As part of the experience, Kevin, who is also an accomplished spoken word artist, performs some of his work while Dan Elliot, musician and Tullamore Dew collaborator, performs some pub singalong tunes.

Speaking about the Virtual Snug Sessions, Caroline Hands, Assistant Brand Manager said: “During this difficult time, we wanted to create an experience for people that brought some fun and entertainment directly to their homes. Conversation and time with friends is at the heart of the Tullamore Dew brand so this class offers the perfect experience for friends to come together, enjoy cocktails, some spoken word and some tunes – everything a great night entails, really!”

Tullamore Dew is currently running a competition on its Instagram channel to win a Virtual Snug Session. To enter, follow @TullamoreDew on Instagram and tag the two friends in the comments section who they would like to share a snug experience with. All participants must be over 18 and will be asked for proof of age.
