Tourism Ireland has been promoting holidays to the island of Ireland in Paris recently, at the Loisir Expo trade fair.

This was the first time that Tourism Ireland had a presence at the show, which specifically targets the French group travel market.

Two tourism enterprises – Flavour of Tyrone and Manor House & Irish Country Hotels – joined Tourism Ireland for the three-day fair, meeting and doing business with various group travel organisers from across France.

Finola O’Mahony, Tourism Ireland’s head of Europe, said: “Our presence at this year’s Loisir Expo provided another valuable platform for Tourism Ireland and our partners to position the island of Ireland as a ‘must see’ destination for French groups.”
