Three Irish tourism businesses joined Tourism Ireland in Turkey to take part in the annual European edition of the Private Luxury Forum (PLF).
PLF took place on 29th May – 1st June and saw more than 110 buyers from Europe and emerging tourism markets take part in a series of one-to-one appointments and networking sessions with luxury hotels and suppliers.
The event was an opportunity to meet, and do business with, travel professionals who design unique, luxury travel itineraries for high net-worth international clients.
“The Private Luxury Forum in Istanbul was a platform to showcase our luxury tourism offering,” said Louise Finnegan, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Business Partnership. “The format of one-to-one appointments provided a valuable opportunity to meet, and network with, luxury travel professionals and buyers from Europe and emerging tourism markets – ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them in 2019 when recommending destinations to their clients.”
