The Sin Bin Opens in The Mont Hotel, Dublin

Dublin’s newest sports bar, The Sin Bin, has opened in the newly revamped Mont Hotel on Clare St, Dublin.

The Sin Bin is styled as a rugby bar and will focus on a food and drinks menu with a sporting twist. Situated on the corner of Clare St and Merrion Square, the bar is ideally located for a pre or most match drink during the upcoming 6 Nations matches at the Aviva Stadium.

For those looking to enjoy the upcoming fixtures from a relaxed setting, The Sin Bin features two large HD screens and a projector in the bar area. GAA and football matches will also regularly be on show.

The food menu includes wood fired pizzas, BBQ ribs, chicken wings, burgers and more. Suppliers used include FX Buckley for meats and Keeling’s for fruit and veg.

Drinks on offer include a selection of Irish craft beers, whiskeys, and gins, as well as a menu of Dublin themed cocktails such as The Bloodshot, Sin Star Martini and Ruby Canal.

The Sin Bin’s interiors pay homage to the local area with stained wood features and paintings reminiscent of the turn of the last century, accented by modern lighting and finishes. Patrons can also make use of the exclusive Winter Garden.

Urska Radanovic, General Manager of The Mont, part of the O’Callaghan Collection, said: “Since opening, The Sin Bin has become the ideal venue to enjoy sports across our two HD TVs and large projector. Whether it is for a bite to eat or a signature cocktail, our menu has a range of choice on offer to suit rugby fans during all 6 Nations matches. We’re located conveniently close to the Aviva Stadium and the DART line, the ideal location to spend match days.”

The first two weekends of February will see acoustic guitar duo, Proud Mary, provide evening entertainment from 7pm on both the 1st and 8th of February, after the Scotland V Ireland and Wales V Ireland games.
