To celebrate eight years of brewing, Cork-based Eight Degrees is producing eight innovative beers throughout 2019.
Many of the beers will be collaborations with well known craft brewers and local producers. The eight beers, all in draught and can format, will form part of the new Rack Em Up series.
The first beer in the series will be Yellow Ball Double Dry Hop IPA, produced in collaboration with Bale Breaker Brewing from Washington's Wakima Valley, and Revolution Brewing from Chicago.
Yellow Ball is a showcase of Yakima Valley’s finest hops chosen by Bale Breaker, a malt bill picked by Eight Degrees to feature the best of local Irish malt and a yeast strain chosen by Revolution.
The beer is recommended to pair with blue cheese, especially Cashel Blue where the creamy funk of the cheese contrasts with the bitterness of the beer.
