The Port House restaurants and Capture Travel are to offer new Wine Tours to Spain to Port House customers, set to begin towards the end of this year with a full launch in 2020.

The tours present an opportunity for customers to experience first-hand the Spanish suppliers of food and wine that make up the menu of The Port House tapas restaurants.

The Port House chain operates four restaurants, three of which are located in Dublin: on South William Street, Temple Bar, and Dundrum, with another on The Strand in London’s Convent Garden.

Four tours have been announced, departing to the Spanish regions of La Mancha, Rioja, Catalonia and Galicia. Four day tours will depart from Dublin airport to explore everything from the vineyards of Torres in Villa Franca to the beginnings of Cava, the Manchego cheese at Quesos Rocinante Malagón to the Estrella Galicia Brewery, the white wines of Albarino to the Rioja at Bodega Hacienda López de Haro.

The tours will feature Michelin star meals, four star hotels and cultural landmarks of the windmills at Consuegra, Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, La Sagrada Familia and more along the way.

The Port House Wine Tours will be operated by Capture Travel, the new travel agency for groups, as part of their new bespoke Branded Tours that give Irish businesses the opportunity to bring their customers around Ireland and abroad to engage with their products and services.
