The popular Teeling Whiskey Tasting Dinner is returning to the Conrad Hotel in Dublin in the new year, with tickets on sale now.
Guests will be treated to a bespoke Teeling’s cocktail at Lemuel’s on arrival at 7pm on Thursday 31st January, where Teeling's master distiller Alex Chasko will be in attendance. As the first employee of Teeling, Alex has been involved in developing the whiskey and the distillery from the beginning. Alex was previously the Innovation Manager at the Cooley Distillery, and began his career at Bridge Port Brewery in Portland Oregon. He graduated from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland where he completed his MSc. in Brewing and Distillery.
The five course tasting dinner will feature local and seasonal ingredients, with each dish curated by new Executive Head Chef Gabriela Gómez Quintana. Dinner will be served in the Coburg restaurant and guests will enjoy dishes such as whiskey cured wild Irish salmon paired with Teeling Single Grain; beef and shitake mushrooms consommé; and grass-fed featherblade of Irish beef paired with Teeling Single Malt; finished with teaor coffee with an option of Brabazon Series to end the evening.
The dinner at the Coburg costs €60 per person to include welcome cocktail and five course tasting menu with paired Teeling Whiskey. Tickets are limited and pre-booking essential. Each guest will receive a goodie bag on departure with the compliments of Teeling’s and Conrad Dublin.
