The island of Ireland was promoted to Belgian tour operators on Thursday, 6th September, at Tourism Ireland’s annual B2B travel trade lunch in Brussels. The event took place in the residency of the Ambassador of Ireland to Belgium, HE Helena Nolan.
Four tourism companies from the island of Ireland attended, meeting and conducting business for 2019 and beyond with the Belgian travel professionals in attendance.
Karen van der Horst, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Belgium and the Netherlands, said: “Our B2B trade lunch was an opportunity to showcase and sell the island of Ireland to Belgian travel professionals. Tourism Ireland is rolling out a programme of promotions this autumn, aimed at boosting late season travel to Ireland and to position us well for 2019.”
