Dublin-based Stillgarden Distillery has launched a brand new mid-strength spirit to help kick off the new year.
Give & Take is a gin-like spirit that leads with Macedonian juniper and local nettles, then a layered combination of ginger, coriander seed, basil and chamomile to create a fresh and complex flavour that is best served with a tonic water.
Give & Take uses vacuum distillation to distil the botanicals at a lower temperature, to help retain flavours. This 22% ABV spirit is available for €33 for a 70cl bottle.
The new release joins O’Maro in Stillgarden’s low ABV lineup. O’Maro, €33 for a 70cl bottle, is a round and rich Irish Amaro with a sweet complex finish that has been macerated with a blend of botanicals, some of which can be found in the local Dublin 8 area such as rosehip, strawberry leaf, lemon verbena and raspberries.
The launch of the mid-strength SKUs comes as part of the inaugural Cultiv8, a campaign designed to promote healthy eating and drinking. Each week in January from Monday 11th, Stillgarden Distillery will be sharing stories from its community via its website and social pages demonstrating how to create a more sustainable lifestyle through tutorials, recipes, home gardening, healthier products and sustainability tips.
These spirits are available on the Stillgarden website from early January 2021.
