Stauntons on the Green is bringing a new unique experience to the heart of Dublin as the townhouse launches an inhouse Whiskey tasting evenings, held in the drawing room of the historic Georgian building.
Stauntons is a period boutique townhouse overlooking St Stephen’s Green with a private garden, chandeliers gracing the trees, and a hidden entrance into the Iveagh Gardens. Dublin’s historical and cultural attractions are easily within walking distance and its right next door to MoLI, a museum of literature for the world’s greatest story tellers.
The inhouse whiskey expert will bring guests through an informative tasting from a number of Ireland’s most beloved brands such as Jameson, Glendalough and Ro & Co.
Held in the drawing room, poet Gerard Manley Hopkins would have written many of his famous sonnets in the same space.
Guests will experience, sample and compare premium, craft Irish whiskey while learning about the journey of Irish Whiskey to the present day.
