Dublin’s Sole restaurant on South William St has been named Best Luxury Seafood Restaurant at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards which took place in St Petersburg, Russia, on Saturday 6th July.
Established in 2015, the World Luxury Restaurant Awards saw over 850 entrants this year. Awards are presented on a country, regional, continental and global basis, and winners are selected by public vote online.
Other winners on the night included Bio-Spa Victoria Gran Lujo in Spain being named Spa of the Year, while overall Restaurant of the Year went to Gåte at Quoin Rock in South Africa’s winelands.
Speaking about the win, Executive Head Chef at Sole, Richie Wilson, said: “The team at Sole are absolutely blown away. Since opening in 2018, the whole team have worked so hard to raise the standard of seafood in Dublin and offer patrons a top quality dining experience with Irish produce on the top of our agenda. To win such a prestigious award is such a testament to the whole teams passion and dedication.”
Sole recently launched its new Afternoon Seafood Towers lunchtime offering where guests can sample a selection of Irish seafood on a tiered platter for €29.50 per person.
