Sodexo Ireland has been presented with the NSAI Excellence Through People accreditation, denoting the achievement of world class standards in human resources management, on 14th May 2014 at a ceremony organised by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) in Dublin.

The NSAI is Ireland’s official standards body and the award was presented by John Perry T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.

Minister Perry said, “Finding a competitive advantage is crucial for businesses both at home and abroad.  Companies are investing in standards because they can see the return on investment and are seeing the benefits.  Standards can open up doors to new opportunities for business and in and many cases these companies present today have already seen this and are representing Ireland on the international stage.”

Niamh Cray, human resources manager for Sodexo Ireland, said, “Despite the downturn, employee engagement is a major priority for many of our global clients as it is for ourselves. We assist our clients with their employee engagement policies by providing a broad range of services on-site to maintain and improve the quality of their working life. Motivated and engaged employees help us to deliver the best standards of service possible.”
