Sentencing Deferred for Takeaway Rampage Man

A man in Arbroath in east Scotland has had his sentencing deferred until mid July, after admitting to threatening to burn down a local takeaway.

Garry Lee Gray, 26, from Newton Avenue in Arbroath, threatened to burn down Pie Bob’s Bakery and Takeaway on June 16th after smashing several windows of the shop with chairs and a table.  He was later arrested while jumping on top of a police car and attempting to assault police officers, smashing the car windscreen in the process and denting the roof.

Gray also admitted to assulting a man by repeatedly poking him on the body and grabbing his upper arm, causing the man to step backwards.
