Restaurant 10 Fleet Street, at The Morgan Hotel in Dublin’s Temple Bar, is offering a special 7 course tasting menu dinner this New Year’s Eve, prepared by head chef Brian E. Meehan and his team.
The Morgan hotel is celebrating its first New Year’s Eve since reopening at the end of November, following an extensivev €15m refurbishment.
Head chef Brian has recently taken the helm of the Morgan Hotel kitchen, and his passion for seafood is evident in a tasting menu which uses locally sourced produce centered on a balance of taste and texture.
The 7 course tasting menu includes gin & juniper cured salmon; watermelon, feta, Kalamata olives; torched cured mackerel fillet; pan seared duck breast with cardamom infused mango, mango crisps, purple potato cream; baked fillet of bream; slow roast pork cheek with king scallops; and to finish, a dark chocolate Sacher torte with bitter orange sauce and toasted pistachios.
The New Year’s Eve Menu at 10 Fleet Street is €55 per person and includes a glass of Champagne. As the clock gets closer to midnight an in-house DJ and band will provide a lively atmosphere into the new year.
