Poachers Drinks has been announced as the overall winner of the inaugural Tonic and Mixer Masters 2021 in The Spirits Business Global Masters Series.
The top accolade of the competition, the Taste Master (best of the best) was awarded to Poachers Wild Tonic with Irish Elderflower, a blend of Irish elderflower, fresh lemon and natural quinine.
Launched in 2008, The Spirits Business Global Masters Series is a series of blind-tasting competitions, and aims to find and recognise excellence in spirits and mixers on the world stage. This year is the first year that Tonic and Mixers have been recognised as a category so Poachers Wild Tonic is the first ever winner of this prize, chosen from over 95 products from around the world.
As well as the top prize in the Tonic and Mixer Master category, Poachers Drinks won six more medals: the Master Medal for their Wild Tonic with Irish Elderflower; four Gold Medals, for Poachers Citrus Tonic With Irish Rosemary, Poachers Classic Tonic With Irish Thyme, Poachers Light Tonic With Irish Rosemary and Poachers Ginger Beer With Irish Chilli; and a silver medal for Poachers Ginger Ale With Irish Apple.

To have won the inaugural Taste Master award for our Wild Tonic is a fantastic achievement and a testament to our love of Irish ingredients shining through on a global stage.”
