Two iconic Dublin institutions, the Stena Line Dublin Horse Show and Bewley’s Grafton Street, have joined forces to celebrate one of the most exciting weeks in the city’s social calendar with a special treat.
This year’s Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Stena Line Dublin Horse Show takes place from the 7th – 11th August and the team at Bewley’s Grafton Street has created a special limited edition raspberry rosette patisserie for the occasion.
The patisserie, which will be available exclusively from Bewley’s Grafton Street from Wednesday 7th – Sunday 11th August, is priced at €7.90. This light summer treat consists of a raspberry glazed vanilla cheesecake with a raspberry confit centre on a base of biskelia chocolate and Rice Krispies.
Col Campbell, Managing Director at Bewley’s, said: “Bewley’s long heritage of resourcefulness and enterprise at the heart of Dublin life gives us a great affinity with the RDS. The RDS is all about turning ideas into action and we jumped at the chance to support them in this high profile international event. In recognition of the ongoing contribution of the RDS to Dublin life we present the raspberry rosette ahead of the Stena Line Dublin Horse Show.”
Michael Duffy of The RDS said: “With 131 competitions over the five days there will be over 1,720 rosettes handed out at the Stena Line Dublin Horse Show so we are delighted that this Bewley’s patisserie creation reflects an item that’s so iconic to the show.”
