Pichet has announced the appointment of a new Head Chef to its team; Harry Quinn.

Since last year, current Executive Chef and co-owner of Pichet, Stephen Gibson, had been splitting his time between Café en Seine and Pichet and has now committed to spending the bulk of his time in the Café en Seine kitchen.

New Head Chef, Harry has had an impressive career to date, having previously worked in restaurants in France and the UK such as Le Mas Candille, a Michelin star restaurant and hotel in Cannes, Jason Atherton’s flagship Michelin restaurant Pollen Street Social and Galvin at Windows, another Michelin star restaurant on the top floor of the Hilton on Park Lane in London.

After three years in London, Harry moved back to Dublin and spent a further three years working in Ross Lewis’ Chapter One where he continued to develop his culinary skills, before joining Visham Sumputh and the team at Luna as sous chef. Following his short stint at Luna, Harry took up a role in Clanbrassil House alongside head chef Grainne O’Keefe, where he remained as sous chef until March 2020.

Commenting on his goal as the new Head Chef at Pichet, Harry’s said: “I want to cook delicious food using the best of Irish produce and seasonal ingredients. Working with the front of house team, I want all our customers to leave Pichet having had a memorable, exciting dining experience.”

Commenting on the appointment of Harry Quinn as Head Chef, Stephen Gibson said: “I am really thrilled about Harry joining Pichet as head chef, his experience and food will speak for itself and I can’t wait to sit back and experience a night enjoying his menu and his cooking. His new tasting menu on a Tuesday will be quite the treat.”

Diners can get a taste of Harry’s cooking with Pichet’s brand new Tuesday tasting menu, or pop in for their Wellie Wednesdays, which includes beautiful beef wellingtons for two, accompanied by smoked potato pomme purée and truffle jus.
