Asian street food chain Peking has opened the doors to its latest franchise store.

Ms Cindy He and Mr Jian He, owners and operators of the new store, have combined the existing Peking brand with their pizza offering Pizza Mia.

The original Peking store which is in Carrickmacross in County Monaghan was stripped back to a box before being completely rebuilt in eight weeks. The store’s interior features its newly refreshed brand identity.

The store is set over two floors with seating and dining to host up to 30 customers (in time when restrictions allow), backed by a graphic of Peking’s food.

Ms Bing Dai, owner and founder of Peking, said: “We are delighted to announce the relaunch of the new store. We opened back in 2012, and subsequently closed it in 2017 so I am very excited to see the reaction of our customers who have been longing for the store to reopen. We hope that they’ll see that their patience has been rewarded!”

There are plenty of deals for customers, with a particular focus on family deals. Online ordering for click and collect as well as a delivery service are also available. Peking also has an outside catering ordering service for family events, celebrations and for local businesses.

The company is now looking for further sites across Ireland to roll out new stores. Ms Dai stated that they are particularly interested in hearing from foodservice partners and operators who wish to enhance their existing food offer with the newly refreshed Peking brand, menu and store design concept.
