Stack A Restaurant at Urban Brewing is celebrating St Patrick’s Day this year with a special food and beer pairing tasting menu with an Irish twist available on the 14th, 15th and 17th March.
Head chef Dan Keane has created a menu which celebrates seasonal Irish ingredients, and each course has been paired with an exclusive beer which has been brewed in-house.
The four course tasting menu will begin with O’Hara’s Stout and Irish beef consumé with homemade brown bread and smoked bone marrow butter, paired with Urban Brewing Pale Ale. This is followed by confit cod with a aerated saffron potato, fermented red cabbage and cured egg yolk, paired with Urban Brewing Yarrow Gruit; and then a glazed breast of Thornhill duck with poached blood orange, fennel, three pepper crust and clove jus; paired with Urban Brewing Bragg IPA. The meal will end with a caramelised whilte chocolate delice with Irish milk sorbet, paired with Urban Brewing Szechuan Stout. (Beers are subject to availability).
The cost of the four course St Patrick’s Day Tasting Menu is €50 per person, with an additional cost of €15 for beer pairings.
