The Clarion Hotel at Liffey Valley has announced the appointment of a new general manager, along with a new sales and marketing director. The new recruits come as upgrades have been completed to both the hotel and the SanoVitae health & fitness club.
New sales and marketing director Léonie Thornton brings a number of years’ experience with her from top 4 and 5 star hotels around Dublin city and county. Having worked in event management, marketing and sales, Léonie has an in-depth understanding of the needs of both the business and consumer guest.
The new general manager Simon Anglin has previous hotel experience in Ireland and the UK. At the core of his role is ensuring all guests have the best experience possible when staying at the Clarion Hotel.
The hotel has invested last year in equipment within SanoVitae and also added a new non-slip resin floor around the swimming pool and in the changing rooms. The hotel has also invested in new beds, curtains and bed throws, and a light refurbishment to their Kudos bar.
