Support service provider Mount Charles has added RTÉ to its portfolio of high-profile clients as part of a new seven year contract that will see the company deliver food and beverage offerings for 1,822 staff and clients at RTÉ’s Donnybrook campus
Existing Mount Charles contracts include Griffith College Dublin, Public Appointments Service, Ordinance Survey Ireland, Abbey Theatre, National Aquatic Centre and Custom House in Dublin.
Following research and analysis of RTÉ’s requirements, Mount Charles has invested €100k to deliver a new food concept that will include brands such as Real Good Food, Honest and Urban Square Coffee.
Real Good Food uses local ingredients to provide traditional home comfort food with a modern twist. Honest will serve fresh, non-processed, food and juices, accompanied by nutritional information; and Urban Square Coffee aims to transform the radio coffee shop into a destination venue.
All the menus have been developed especially for RTÉ.
Mount Charles Chairman and founder, Trevor Annon, said: “We are delighted to announce our most recent contract win. It is the ‘jewel in the crown’ of some heavyweight contracts we have picked up over the last two years and I believe it sends out a strong message to the market.
“Using our extensive knowledge from operating many similar catering solutions, we believe that we have created a strong food offer and brand that is appealing and will meet all of RTE’s staff and customers’ needs.
“We are confident that the service we can provide to RTÉ will be unrivalled.”
Mount Charles currently employs 2,500 team members and services over 400 clients across the UK and Ireland.
