The Monaghan Street Food Festival is back.

For one day only, Saturday 1st October 2002, the stretch of town from the front of the Courthouse in Church Square to the Diamond, will be filled with eating and drinking opportunities.

As a five-time Top 10 Food Destination, Monaghan is gaining a reputation as a great place to eat, and the Street Food Festival is a place for locals and visitors to try new things and connect with producers.

Over 35 stalls and food trucks are coming together to show off their wares, from street food and family bakeries, to local food and drink producers. There will also be an array of locally made crafts on display.

The festival takes place 11am-7pm and is free to attend. Entertainment will be hosted throughout.

The festival provides a conclusion for the Summer of Food Series which ran throughout the summer and featured award-winning food businesses including Matilda’s Bakery & Deli and Dinkin’s Bakery; Glaslough Chocolate Company, Andy’s Bar & Restaurant, Silver Hill Duck, Blasta Street Kitchen, Paelling and Such Fraoc Ban jams and preserves, all of whom are taking part in the Street Food Festival.
