The Galway-based coffee shop group that includes Mr. Waffle and Ground & Co has taken over Delight Café in Renmore.
Delight Café, on Renmore Avenue, has been open for 14 years and has now joined the group lead by Kevin Nugent, who works alongside his team Stephanie Doherty, Niamh Gallagher and Leroy Marshall.
Delight has had an entire refurbishment and refit with seating now for 35 inside and 20 outside.
Open 6 days a week and with a full catering delivery or collection menu, Delight offers early breakfasts, lunch and afternoon bites. It has a full juice bar for guests to enjoy freshly made juices and smoothies from.
Breakfast options include toasted homemade sourdough with butter and jam; avocado and goats cheese; Galway made Totally Nutz peanut butter; or ricotta, honey and dukkah.
Bigger breakfast bites include Leroy’s sausage roll with homemade relish; or a Collerans bacon and cream cheese bagel; homemade granola with Greek yoghurt and berries; and porridge.
Lunch at Delight is all about sandwiches, wraps, bagels and salads. The in-house baked breads range from sourdough to pesto breads to seeded baguettes.
