Java Republic Shortlisted for Manufacturing Awards

Java Reublic has been shortlisted along with 44 other companies for the inaugural Manufacturing and Supply Chain Awards, which will be held at The Citywest Hotel on the 17th of January 2019.

Dedication, hard work and innovation from Ireland’s leading manufacturers will be recognised at the event. High impact manufacturing businesses are firms that deliver significant results while keeping their workforce engaged and maintaining a foundation of strong values.

Judges include Eoin O’ Driscoll, Chairman of Tyndall Institute; Barry Kennedy, Chief Executive of IMR; Caroline Spillane, Director General Engineers Ireland; and John Whelan, Chairman of Premier Publishing and Events.

Some of the categories for 2019 include best small, medium and large manufacturing company; supply chain manufacturing partner; and best use of robotics.

Finalists include Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals Ringaskiddy Cork, Kerrygold Butter Packing Ltd, Java Republic, Cook Medical, Mash Direct, Intel and DellEMC.

Barry Kennedy, CEO, Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR), said: “Although the awards are in their first year, the quality of the entries this year was extremely impressive and the decision was a very difficult one for the judges. Recognition of high quality manufacturing businesses in Ireland is long overdue and we in the IMR alongside the partners and fellow judges were both privileged and delighted to participate in this fantastic celebration of manufacturing.”
