Java Republic has announced a relaunch of its organic tea offering, in response to changing consumer trends and needs.
Drinkers are more tuned in to the ingredients they consume, wanting to focus on healthier options, and wanting to feel good in the choices they make. Java Republic’s range of organic tea blends has been developed to reflect this.
The new tea range is split into six categories – Awaken, Digestion, Calming, Cleansing, Savour, and Enticing, providing a tea for everyone at any time of day. Across the six categories, there are 24 organic teas for businesses to choose from.
While the new offering is designed with the consumer in mind, it has specifically been developed to put businesses and end-users at the centre of their attention. Managing Director, Grace O’Shaughnessy, said: “With health, wellness and mindfulness becoming so much more important in people’s lives, no matter what your business is, you need to be able to provide a premium tea experience as well as coffee. Whether you are a hotel looking for options to complement your afternoon tea, a spa looking for the perfect start or finish to relaxing treatments, a restaurant or café looking for the perfect food-pairings, or an employer looking to go the extra mile for your staff, we have options to suit you.”
Java Republic has also put sustainability at the forefront of the new range – the silken tea bags for example are 100% biodegradable, each one packed in a biodegradable envelope to maintain freshness and aroma.
The announcement comes on the heels of news that Java Republic has joined forces with the Spanish coffee company Cafento. The partnership is set to see the Java Republic expand into international markets. Both parties expect that the new tea range will be welcomed internationally as well as domestically.
Founded in 1999 by David McKernan, Java Republic entered the tea market a number of years ago and quickly grew the selection to become the largest range of organic tea blends in Europe.
