Java Republic has announced the launch of its new ReLeaf Campaign, in collaborating with Pieta.
Throughout the month of May Java Republic is donating €1 from every box of tea sold online to Pieta.
The COVID 19 crisis has forced many charities to stop their existing operations and restrategise. In light of this, Pieta has had to cancel its largest annual fundraising campaign, Darkness into Light, and instead appeal to others to help spread messages of solidarity and raise awareness of the charity’s work.
Since its establishment in 2006, Pieta has provided counselling to over 44,000 people, with almost 8,000 people coming through its doors in 2019. More than 80% of Pieta’s funds come from the public.
“We have always been huge advocates for the tremendous work Pieta does within our society. Now more than ever we need to be mindful of our own mental health and get help and support if needed. We’re privileged to be in a position to support Pieta,” said Grace O’Shaughnessy, Managing Director of Java Republic.
