Charleston-based Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. has launched a new addition to its lineup of products, a bloody mary mix.

The mix is a streamlined take on the much-loved brunch favourite and is available now online and in stores nationwide.

The company was founded by cousins Brooks Reitz and Taylor Huber in 2011, who also own Leon’s Oyster Shop, Little Jack’s Tavern and Melfi’s restaurants. Their first release was a Classic Tonic Syrup and they have since expanded with a variety of mixes, including a Margarita Mix, as well as an olive oil and Vermouth brined olives.

, who determined that most Bloody Mary mixes currently available are heavyhanded with spices and horseradish, lacking in any distinct flavour. For the Jack Rudy version, the cousins used a lighter mix made up of tomato juice, hot sauce, horseradish, Worcestershire and a dose of fresh lemon juice.

The Jack Rudy Bloody Mary Mix is available online at, as well as in select retailers across the country. 32 oz bottles are available with an SRP of $10 and are sold in two packs for $20 online.
