Japanese Kitchen by J2 Sushi has been confirmed as the latest restaurant due to open in Dundrum Town Centre, as part of the redevelopment of the Pembroke District.
Founded in 2008 in Ireland by head chef and owner Jason Cheng, J2 Sushi focuses on Japanese favourites such as sushi and bento boxes.
The J2 Sushi outlet will comprise of 3,703 sq. ft spread out over two levels, with a balcony overlooking a new 6,000 sq. ft public square capable of hosting its own dedicagted programme of events throughout the year. The restaurant will be located adjacent to the new Fallon & Byrne flagship food hall and restaurant.
Other restaurants confirmed to take up residence in the Pembroke District include fast food brand Leon, and US food chain P.F. Chang’s. The redevelopment of the area will reposition existing retail units to create four new restaurants and additional leisure space. The new restaurants will sit alongside Harvey Nichols, the existing restaurants and outside dining terrace.
