iNua Hospitality has announced that Chris Austin has been appointed as Group Operations Director, and will oversee the company’s portfolio of four and five star hotels.
iNua has hotels across Ireland, including the Muckross Park Hotel & Spa in Killarney, the Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel, and RAdisson Blu Hotels in Cork, Limerick, Athlone & Sligo. Chris joins iNua from Tifco Hotel Group where he was Regional Operations Manager for seven years.
Prior to Tifco, Chris worked as Director of Operations at both The Shelbourne and Druid’s Glen Resort. He has also held management roles in Ashford Castle, The Emirates Towers, Dubai and The Sandy Lane Hotel, Barbados.
Born Newcastle, Chris has been working in the hospitality business since before he left school, with part time kitchen work in a local golf club followed by two years as trainee chef and second chef in a Lincolnshire pub and a Cambridge hotel.
In his role as Group Operations Director, Chris will be responsible for group operational procedures & standards, product & service development, and operations training; in conjunction with HR, health & safety and transitioning new acquisitions into the iNua group.
