Limerick company Visitorflix has launched the world’s first cloud based interactive destination video library of 30-second visitor experiences videos, created to enable Irish tourism companies to showcase a range of visitor experiences on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The interactive video library, which can be viewed at www.irelandswildatlanticway.ie, already contains more than 130 30-second video clips which have been accessed by more than 45,000 people from 150 countries. Dozens of tour operators, car hire companies, airports and hotels who have agreed to use the content as part of their own sales and marketing campaigns at home and abroad.

VisitorFlix aims to have over 100 30-second videos of things to do and 50 places to stay for every county in Ireland by the end of the year. Over the next eight weeks, they will be filming along the Wild Atlantic Way, taking in counties Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick, Kerry and Cork.

“According to Google, two out of three US consumers watch travel videos when thinking about a trip,” said VisitorFlix managing director Martin O’Regan. “IrelandsWildAtlanticWay.ie brings the concept of ‘one trip, many discoveries’ to life in a new way, capturing the ‘feel, think, act’ stage of researching, planning and booking a break away at every touch-point.”
