Green 19 on Camden St, Dublin, is celebrating ten years in business with a series of special events and promotions taking place over the coming months.
In 2008 Creative Agency ModernGreen approached brothers Adam and Colin Dickson to open a restaurant on a street best known at the time for its late night bars and fast food outlets. Green 19 was born with the intention of catering to all comers, from students and artists, to local business people and office workers.
The opening partly heralded the transformation of Camden St into the food and drink destination it is today, with dozens of pubs, late night bars and restaurants from fast casual to fine dining all rubbing shoulders with each other.
Everything on the menus of Green 19 is made in house, including their signature house smoked pastrami and corned beef. Adam and Colin grew up work on their father's fruit & veg supplies business in Smithfield, and source local and seasonal ingredients.
