Galway Business Helping People to Cocoon with a taste of Ireland

White Gables in Moycullen in Galway, which has been in business for almost 30 years, has never been afraid to adapt in times of struggle.

Co-owners Anne and Kevin Dunne started to think about their customers and how they can go to them instead of the traditional customer coming to the shop, and with this the idea og the Cocooning Hamper was born.

Items are handpicked from their store in Moycullen and selected with the over 70s in mind to bring them a little joy as they spend time away from their loved ones.

“We wanted to reach out to our customers who cannot visit us and this is a perfect way to do so. As our food shop & bakery continues to stay open it enables us to keep working away while the restaurant is closed. We are delighted to be here for our community who have always been there for us for the past 29 years. We feel it brings a bit of normality into people’s lives in this uncertain time,” explained Anne Dunne.

This is a story of a local small business adapting in challenging times and also being mindful of their customer’s needs.

Hampers cost from €50 each and can be purchased online or by calling 091-555744.
