The g Hotel’s g Races Afternoon Tea Event in partnership with Champagne Taittinger is returning once again this year, in time for the Galway Races.
Taking place during the full week of the Galway Races from Monday the 25th of July to Sunday 31st July, the g Races Afternoon Tea sees stylish ladies invited to book and enter in the daily Best Hat Competition.
It’s an opportunity to dress up and enjoy the Races’ themed savoury and sweet treats created by the Hotel’s culinary team, then sit back and take in the fashion that the Galway Races is famous for.
The Hotel will choose a Best Hat winner each day of the Galway Races with prizes including vouchers from ESPA, Les Jumelles, Harper Boutique, Taittinger, Hartmann Jewellers, and Don’t call me Dear Boutique.
On Galway Races Ladies Day, the 28th of July, Aoibhin Garrihy will be the guest judge for the Best Hat Competition. The broadcaster and entrepreneur will host the Ladies Day g Races Afternoon Tea and choose the winner on the day. Aoibhin has previously judged the 2017 Galway Races Ladies Day.
The prize on Ladies Day for the Best Hat at the g Hotel is ‘The Ultimate Makeover’ which includes a €1000 Brown Thomas Voucher, 3-hour VIP styling session with Galway stylist Orla Sheridan, Beauty or Fragrance Consultation with Brown Thomas, and a Make up session with Charlotte Tilbury, hair makeover with Peter Mark, and a magnum of Champagne Taittinger (total prize value of €2500).
