Red meat and health is one of the topics for discussion at the 9th Annual Nutrition & Health Foundation seminar taking place on Thursday 22nd September 2016 at the Aviva, Dublin.

Professor Robert Pickard, a member of the UK’s Meat Advisory Panel and former Director General of the British Nutrition Foundation, is amongst the national and international speakers who will explore the roles of nutrition and physical activity in combating obesity under the seminar’s theme of Food & Fitness: Fact V Fiction.

The seminar, which is free to attend, will be of interest to representatives of the food industry, retail sectors, academia, research, policy-makers, physical activity and health professionals. Professor Pickard will discuss red meat in relation to health and deal with obesity, cancer risks as well as meat’s nutritional value.
