Fast food chain Five Guys continues to expand its global franchise with the opening of a new restaurant in Paris, France – offering a click and collect service only, in line with local restrictions.
With the city under national lockdown, Five Guys pressed on with construction and fit out of the new outlet, and began trading in November. The full restaurant is due to open to diners later in 2021.
Construction work on the new, 600 sqm development within the Les Halles shopping district was completed in four months, with much of the fit-out taking place under lockdown restrictions. The turnkey delivery was managed in its entirety by pan-European construction company Agilité Solutions with senior architect and country manager (Italy), Maria Luisa Daglia at the helm.
Having previously worked for brands such as JD Sports, Victoria’s Secret and Nike, Milan-based Maria Luisa oversaw the cross-border project, acting as the liaison between Five Guys (Paris), and the eateries’ own branding agency, Black Sheep, based in London.
Once fully open, the restaurant will be able to seat around 120 diners at any one time, with a large outdoor seating area catering for additional footfall during peak summer months.

“The project wasn’t without challenges – being delivered during Europe’s lockdown – but the restaurant was opened on time and on budget. Hopefully this has laid the foundations for a strong partnership with more opportunities to work together as the franchise rolls out plans for more locations across the continent.”

Launched in 1986, Five Guys now has more than 1,500 locations across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, as well as 17 outlets in France.
