The terrace at Dublin’s Wilde restaurant has been transformed into a rosé lovers’ haven for the summer, in celebration of an all new rosé wine menu at the central Dublin spot.
Until the end of July, the the terrace is featuring a floral installation designed by Appassionata Flowers, where guests can enjoy a relaxed summer afternoon or glamorous evening indulging in the Everything’s Rosé experience.
Guests can order a rosé wine tasting experience for €25 in the garden terrace. For those yet to find their favourite rosé, Wilde’s La Vie En Rosé tasting includes four rosé wines from the South of France, highlighting the classic Languedoc and Provence rosé style. Each wine has been selected by Philip Dunne, Head Sommelier at the Westbury and winner of Best Sommelier as voted by the Sunday Business Post Gold Star Awards 2019.
Wines in the flight include Le Bijou, with an elegantly balanced aroma of wild strawberries, citrus and flowers; and Whispering Angel, a celebrity favourite that’s light and fresh with a white peach expression.
Guests will be guided through the background and details of each pour which they can then enjoy additionally as single glass serves (from €9), or as chilled bottles for the table. Guests can also avail of Wilde’s rosé food pairings which include tuna sashimi and roasted giant tiger prawns.
In addition to these rosé wines, Wilde also has a selection of sparkling wine and champagne, including Domaine Zinck Cremant D’Alsace (€15 per glass/€74 per bottle) and Perrier Jouët Blason Rosé (€22 per glass/€120 per bottle), as well as two cocktails incorporating rosé, Cherry Blossom G&T (€13) and the Rosé Spritz (€9).
