Dublin’s Urban Brewing, located in the CHQ Building at Dublin’s Docklands, is running a special 12 Beers of Christmas event this December which will see the brewery and bar put a spotlight on two beers each week in the run-up to Chrismas, including new limited edition seasonal brews.

Seasonally inspired tipples include Urban Brewing Marshmallow Root Stout, a big rich aroma that starts with sweetness and finishes with long lasting dryness; Urban Brewing Bierre De Noel, a spiced Belgin style character beer with cloves cinnamon and dried fruit notes; O’Hara’s Winter Star, a spiced amber ale with cinnamon, orange zest and coconut; and Urban Brewing Fest Bier, a full and rich lager with a balance of malt, sweetness and spice.

The 12 Beers of Christmas will also feature a host of favourites including Urban Brewing White Lager, Urban Brewing Red IPA, and Urban Brewing Kveik IPA.

Downstairs in Stack A Restaurant, Head Chef Dan Keane has created Christmas menus whose dishes compliment the brews, such as haunch of Glenmalure venison, roast root vegetable, pickled girolles and bitter chocolate jus which is recommended to be paired with the Urban Brewing Bierre De Noel.

The 12 Beers of Christmas will be followed up with the return of Stack A Restaurant’s New Year’s Eve Beer Pairing Tasting Menu which promises a night of food, beer and celebration.
