In preparation for British National Fish & Chips Day, Sarson’s Vinegar teamed up with one of London’s best known fish & chip shops to release a gin & tonic with a tart twist.
Sarson’s Vinegar has teamed up with London’s Poppies Fish and Chips shop to create the vin & tonic – or, if you hadn’t guessed, a classic gin & tonic made with a healthy splash of vinegar.
To help celebrate British National Fish & Chips Day on Friday 7th June, from 6pm onwards Poppies gave away 100 of the cocktails for free at its Soho and Spitafield locations.
While the unique concoction might have only been available for one day, Poppies released the recipe for budding bartenders to make at home:
Vin & Tonic:
- 25ml Gin
- 15ml dry Vermouth
- Juice of half a lemon
- 25ml Sarson’s shrub
