To celebrate its tenth birthday, the EATGalway group has introduced two new special weekend packages.
The restaurant group is comprised of Michelin starred Aniar, Cava Bodega and Tartare Café + Wine Bar. The EATGalway Experience Weekend Package starts off with a Saturday tapas lunch and glass of Cava in Spanish restaurant Cava Bodega; and continues into Saturday evening in Michelin starred Aniar Restaurant in Galway’s West End, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine from a boutique winery before enjoying dishes from the six course tasting menu.
The package concludes the next day with Sunday brunch in Tartare Café + Wine Bar, where diners will be treated to unique dishes like a seaweed hollandaise accompanying poached eggs, and pancakes made with Cuinneog buttermilk served with local Slieve Aughty honey.
Meanwhile, the Aniar Experience Weekend Package starts with Saturday evening dinner in Aniar Restaurant consisting of a six course tasting menu plus wine pairings, and continues the next day with a one day Sunday cookery class from 10.00am until 5.00pm led by JP McMahon in Aniar Boutique Cookery School. Among the choices of one-day classes on offer are The Perfect Christmas Dinner; Vegetables, Wild Food & Seaweed; Planning A Dinner Party; The Perfect Loaf, and more. Cooking classes run twice a month.
The weekend package costs €250 for two people, while the Aniar Experience Weekend Package costs €295 per person.
