Details have been released of the seventh annual New Year's Festival Dublin (NYF Dublin), with three major events set to take place on December 31st across the city.
A Fáilte Ireland and Dublin City Council initiative, produced and promoted by MCD Productions, the festival will play host to a line up of Irish music and entertainment centered around The Custom House.
Two of the the three countdown events - Liffey Lights Midnight Moment - Matinee, and the Liffey Lights Midnight Moment - are free however tickets must be reserved in advance. Information will be released on www.nyfdublin.com at the end of November.
The Liffey Lights Midnight Moment Matinee allows families and friends of all ages to ring in the new year. The show starts at 6pm, leading to the earlier countdown spectacle at 7pm.
Platinum selling artist Gavin James has been announced as the headliner for the 3Countdown Concert at Custom House with special guests Hudson Taylor, Wild Youth and Inhaler. Tickets (which include entry to the Liffey Lights Midnight Moment event) are priced €29.90 including booking fee and are on sale via Ticketmaster.
