The Chancery Inn pub on Inns Quay in Dublin 7 has been been put for sale, with a guide price of €1.7m.

The pub is notable for being one of the few remaining early houses left in the city, meaning it has a license to be open from 9am Monday – Friday, and from 7am on Saturdays. The four storey over basement building dates from the 1820s, and is close to the Luas, bus routes and is a short walk from the centre of Dublin.

Above the pub are five self-contained short term rental apartments, with a separate entrance from Charles St West. The apartments are typically rented out via Airbnb and provide a steady stream of income.

The sale is being handled by agent Robert Colleran.
