This coming April will see The Dingle Whiskey Distillery unveil its fourth small batch limited edition single malt.

The distillery is Ireland’s first artisanal whiskey, gin and vodka producer and the first purpose built distillery to open in Ireland in over 100 years. It is also the first independently owned Irish distillery to release 100% its own produced products.

Following the successful releases of its Batch No. 1, 2 and 3 whiskeys, the award-winning distillery is set to release 30,000 bottles of its Batch No. 4 Single Malt, alongside 500 bottles of Cask Strength.

12,000 bottles of the Batch No. 4 Single Malt are to remain in Ireland, with the remainder allocated for export to international markets. All 500 bottles of Cask Strength will remain exclusively within Ireland and the UK.

The latest release will mark a significant production increase, following the third release of which just 20,000 bottles were produced. The Dingle Whiskey Distillery is committed to increasing batch sizes whilst maintaining the high standards for which it is known.

Commenting on the new new release, Elliot Hughes, Partner at The Dingle Whiskey Distillery, said: “The unveiling of Batch No. 4 is particularly exciting as its a whiskey married in our three main cask types; bourbon, sherry (Both Pedro Jimenez and Oloroso) as well as port. This gives it a really unique point of difference which should once again give people further insight into how our Dingle whiskey will continue to grow in terms of flavour over the coming years.

“It is also our largest batch release to date. The vast majority of the increased quantity from Batch No. 4 will be sold in export markets around the EU and North America which we hope will give a wider, more global audience the opportunity to experience our Dingle whiskey; from the edge!”
