The annual Connemara Festival has launched for 2018, with this year's event taking place on the May Bank Holiday weekend of 4th - 6th.
The festival is held every year in the village of Tullycross on the Renvyle peninsula, in North West Connemara.
Talks and exhibitions take the form of a tribute to the memory of poet Richard Murphy, a talk and demonstration from Connemara Smokehouse Proprietor Graham Roberts, Poitin tasting with Micil Poitin, and Renvyle's Amy Coyne giving an account of her trip to Mount Everest basecamp.
The artisan market will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, while the popular dawn walk takes place on Sunday morning.
Visiting chefs will include Cliodhna Prendergast, Declan McManus, Jonathan Keane, Keith Carden and Tim O'Sullivan.
