Café en Seine has teamed up with Boutique Wines for another showcase event centered around a particular winery, with Cuna de Reyes taking centre stage on Sunday 19th January.
Cuna de Reyes’s winemaker Alfredo Ciria will be in attendance to tell diners about the Cuna de Reyes range and why the selecte wines were chosen for this pairing event.
On the night, Alfredo Ciria will join the team at Café en Seine for a three course pairing dinner created by executive chef Stephen Gibson. Each course will be paired with a glass of wine from the Cuna de Reyes range.
The Cuna de Reyes winery was founded in 1999 in the town of Nájera, in the La Rioja region of Northern Spain, also known as the “Kings Court”. Paying homage to this town, their wines were named Cuna de Reyes (birthplace of Kings).
Cuna de Reyes harvests its own grapes from La Rioja Alta, as well as those from contracted vintners in the area. The main grape variety used is Tempranillo, however also used are Grenache and Mazuelo for red wines and Viura for whites.
Alfredo oversees almost everything at Cuna de Reyes – he controls every aspect from fermentation temperature to bottle and label design.
Limited tickets are available now via Eventbrite.
