Bunratty Castle Hotel has joined the Best Western Signature Collection, the first hotel in the country to join the programme.
Best Western had previously confirmed intentions to have ten hotels in Ireland as part of the collection over the next five years. Hotels in the collection are selected for their unique local experiences, variety of amenities for corporate and leisure travellers as well as a warm welcome and stay. Another two hotels will be appointed over the coming months.
Bunratty Castle Hotel will now have access to Best Western’s global reservation system; participation in Best Western Rewards, the brand’s loyalty programme; and mobile, eCommerce and technology resources.
Bunratty Castle Hotel is owned by The Blarney Woollen Mills Group Limited, and will continue to operate under its own name but with the additional opportunities offered by being part of the Best Western portfolio.
Primarily targeted at the overseas and domestic leisure and corporate markets, Bunratty Castle Hotel is located between Shannon Airport and Limerick City. The 144 bedroom property has recently undergone a refurbishment including an allocation of 74 executive rooms to corporate travellers. The executive level also has its own private breakfast room with earlier breakfast times available.
Situated a stone’s throw from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, which earlier this year announced an €8m development plan, the four star hotel will be marketed as a BW Signature Collection Hotel by Best Western.
