The Bob Dylan-backed Heaven’s Door whiskey brand is launching in Ireland nad the UK thanks to a new distribution agreement with When We are Giants, part of the Drinksology Group.
Introduced stateside in 2018 as a collaboration with Dylan and Spirits Investment Partners, Heaven’s Door has picked up more than 35 awards around the world since such as the Whiskey of the Year and Spirit of The Year by Quality at the 2019 London Spirits Competition.
“2020 serves as an exciting milestone for Heaven’s Door as we expand our presence in the UK and Ireland,” said Marc Bushala, CEO of Heaven’s Door Spirits. “It’s been an exciting period of growth and we look forward to continuing that momentum in the years to come.”
Uniquely, each bottle of Heaven’s Door features Bob Dylan’s ironwork sculptures, and are sold at retail ranging from €110 – €130 per bottle.
The Heaven’s Door portfolio of craft whiskeys includes:
- Heaven’s Door Tennessee Bourbon (42% ABV)
This bourbon features a high-rye mashbill with a blend of “small grains” used to complement the character imparted from ageing new American oak barrels.
- Heaven’s Door Straight Rye Whiskey (43% ABV)
After being aged in new, charred American oak barrels, the whiskey is then finished in toasted oak cigar barrels that were harvested and air-dried in the low-lying mountain region of Vosges, France.
- Heaven’s Door Double Barrel Whiskey (50% ABV)
Comprised of a blend of three different whiskeys aged for six years which come together in new American oak barrels for an additional year.
