Bianconi Inn Killorglin for Sale by CBRE

CBRE has confirmed instructions to offer the Bianconi Inn, Killorglin, Co. Kerry for sale by private treaty.

The property is being sold on behalf of Ray and Rick Sheehy, who are retiring after a lifetime of service to the hospitality sector.

The Bianconi Inn occupies a pivotal corner trading position in Killorglin, Co. Kerry. It is a property which is steeped in history as it is named after Charles Bianconi, one of Europe’s innovators in public transport, and is located on a former Bianconi stage coach route.

Killorglin is one of Kerry’s principal towns, situated on the Ring of Kerry and renowned for its Puck Fair August festival. Many international firms have operations in Killorglin, most notably Fexco, an international payment solutions company, while pharmaceutical firms Temmlar and Astellas also have plants in the town.

The Bianconi Inn is a long established and extensive three storey licensed premises, restaurant and guest accommodation property. Since its acquisition in 1955 by the Sheehy family the property has been continuously upgraded and expanded over the years.

The property, which is presented in excellent decorative order, now comprises a ground floor licensed premises; separate restaurant area; reception; catering kitchen; stores and customer toilets. On the first and second floors there is the guest accommodation 16 beautifully appointed bedrooms.
