Following on from the success of the inaugural craft beer & cheeese matching event, held in Cork at the end of February, Judy Wilkins of Rising Sons Brewery and Elke O’Mahoy of Bia Sasta hacve announced the next event in the Match.Cork series.
The second event of the series, craft beer & charcuterie matching, is taking place on Friday 27th March at 8pm, again at the Rising Sons Brewery Pub with the tasting taking place in a private room.
“Feedback from our guests at the first matching event was so encouraging and we can’t wait for sharing our passion for food and drink again,” saud food writer and event organizer Elke O’Mahony of Bia Sasta.
“We are having so much fun researching all the different foods and trying to find the perfect match,” added Judy, manager at Rising Sons Brewery. “We want to make sure to get the matching right for our guests.”
“Ireland has some amazing charcuterie producers,” said Elke “and we can’t wait to introduce cured, smoked meats to our guests at our next event.”
“Pairing these wonderful meats with craft beers will be a delight,” added Judy.
