BaxterStorey to Run Arnotts Christmas Café

Independent caterer BaxterStorey Ireland has been confirmed as the operator of a pop-up Christmas café to run in Arnotts department store for the festive period.

The Oh What Fun pop-up café features festive treats for children and adults. The central theme of the pop-up café, which is located on Level 2, is that of fun and sharing, working with small Irish artisan suppliers for the whole family to enjoy. Suppliers engaged with the café include Arcane Chocolate, Dublin; Mallow Mia, Co. Donegal; and Ariosa Coffee, Co. Meath.

There are three sharing options to choose from: the Taste of Christmas includes a seasonal soup shooter, turkey and brie mini sandwich on toasted rye bread, a duo of Irish cheeses served with festive chutney and winter berries and a Christmas choux bun and mince pies. The Oh What Fun Favourites option is made up of a Christmas choux bun, traditional mince pie, festive macaron, spiced hot chocolate bon bon served with steamed milk and gourmet marshmallow. Lastly, the Toy Soldier Selection Box was created especially with kids in mind, with a ham and cheese toastie and including gingerbread men, a Christmas cupcake, and a hot milk chocolate bon bon served with steamed vanilla milk and gourmet marshmallow. Prices start at €14 for two people sharing.

BaxterStorey has been operating in Ireland since 2007, and current key clients include Ulster Bank, Kerry Group, and Dublin City Council.
